2013 Boulder flood

Today started out drizzly and foggy, but after the clouds burned off it was the first sunny day in an otherwise historically rainy week. Here are pictures of our street this past Thursday:

Trent Finlayson latest addition to HO Sports team

In competitive water skiing, as in many other sports, athletes align with a specific brand or manufacturer. Today Trent Finlayson joined the HO Sports team and as a result will be the latest skier who rides the Syndicate A3. (Reminder to update the team page on your website, guys.)

Why don’t we all have a pair of roller skis?

I think the answer is… because there are very few places on the planet with terrain smooth enough to do what these guys are doing without killing yourself. Plus they look a little, well, dorky. Maybe these things could be the basis for Hot Dog 2: The Movie. Interestingly, some of the moves in this Warren Miller video are similar to the moves in the original Hot Dog: The Movie. Maybe it’s because both were made in 1984.
