Today started out drizzly and foggy, but after the clouds burned off it was the first sunny day in an otherwise historically rainy week. Here are pictures of our street this past Thursday:
Just sold last year’s HO Attack bindings. I’m hoping someone else loves them. Enjoying the Radar Vector bindings I installed back in May. (And still loving the A2 I’m skiing on as well.) Almost have 22′ off in the course…
It’s a “pending” world record, whatever that means. That’s some serious skiing.
In competitive water skiing, as in many other sports, athletes align with a specific brand or manufacturer. Today Trent Finlayson joined the HO Sports team and as a result will be the latest skier who rides the Syndicate A3. (Reminder to update the team page on your website, guys.)
I think the answer is… because there are very few places on the planet with terrain smooth enough to do what these guys are doing without killing yourself. Plus they look a little, well, dorky. Maybe these things could be the basis for Hot Dog 2: The Movie. Interestingly, some of the moves in this Warren Miller video are similar to the moves in the original Hot Dog: The Movie. Maybe it’s because both were made in 1984.
Mid- to late-May is the time to climb Everest, if that sort of thing is your bag. Exhausted from your ascent, why bother climbing back down? Now you can just jump.
